ICF workshop on financial management for African Francophone countries

April 11, 2013

The Investment Climate Facility for Africa will be holding a Project Management and Accounting workshop in Abidjan, Ivory Cost from  the 15th to 17th of April 2013.

The workshop will serve as a platform for exchanging best practices in ICF reporting, project management, financial control, and audit recommendations tracking. The workshop will be facilitated by Pricewaterhousecoopers and will bring over 25 participants from eight different countries in Africa, including: Burkina Faso, Senegal, Mauritius, Mali, Cote d’Ivoire, Togo, Cape Verde and Tunisia and one regional block: OHADA.

This is a second Accountants’ workshop this year; the first one took place in March in Johannesburg. Attended by participants from nine Anglophone countries in Africa, the workshop was very successful and highly appreciated by the participants.

ICF is keen on knowledge sharing as a way of ensuring that practical and proven experiences from other African countries are used to facilitate reforms.
